Four year Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) in product design, furniture and interior design, ceramic and glass design (industrial design), graphic design, animation film design, film and video communication, exhibition (spatial) design (under the Faculty of Communication Design) and textile design ( under the Faculty of Textile Apparel Design and Lifestyle Design) at National Institute of Design, Paldi, Ahmedabad-380007.

You need: Students who have passed examination under Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent are eligible for these programmes. Upper age limit is 20 years (relaxable by 3 years for reserved categories) as on June 01. National Entrance Examination for Design Studies (NEED) on January 04. NEED scores will be shared with the consortium members D J Academy of Design, Coimbatore; IILM School of Design, Gurgaon; Indian Institute of Craft & Design, Jaipur; Wigan & Leigh College, New Delhi; Srishti School of Art, Design & Technology, Bengaluru and Pearl Academy of Fashion, New Delhi.

Form: Obtain from selected branches of Bank of India in Mumbai and Delhi (Janpath, Hauz Khas) on payment of Rs 1500 (plus Rs 30 bank charges). Forms for reserved categories to be obtained from NID, Ahmedabad. Forms may also be downloaded from www.nid.edu/downloads
